They are in their Poodle Palace. Past their bed time, ya know. But I'm just guessing that, of course. I'm in Hobbs at the folks house. We've been moving William into his house in Las Cruces and got back tonight. I'm beat. But I talked to the husband about an hour ago and he was sleepy and said it was time.

Frank's had quite a week. A day or two ago Vic made a frozen pizza (isn't that sad, I leave and he has to eat frozen pizza rather than home cooked meal...hee hee snort) and he took it out of the oven and sat it on the stove top to cool for a minute. He went back to the living room and heard a noise. He went to investigate only to meet Bad Frank trotting out of the kitchen. He found the pizza draped over the towel rack with all the toppings dripping to the floor. I am so glad it was damn hot and he couldn't get it any further!

And then tonight, Vic could hear another noise in the kitchen. A minute later he ran around the corner prancing with his prize. He found the bag o' pig ears. He only brought one to the living room, but he left the bag out in the middle of the floor.

Nancy is just her pretty pretty princess self. Miss Fancy Pants is always a princess, even when she stocks my poor poor Pesty cat or tries to dig to China. Vic does not agree, but I'm the one that is always right.

So, needless to say, Vic is ready for me to come home. Little does he know that I'm bringing my mother home with me! No, actually, I told him that too. All he wanted to know was if she was going to make him chicken fried steak.

Suffrage doesn't please female Kansas state senator

This woman should have her job revoked. How in the hell can she hold an elected position and not believe that women should vote?! It's just wrong.

Bend it Like Beckham :: Now Playing

This is the cutest movie I have seen in some time! You should all Netflix it. Or if you are still living in the darkages, "rent" it. And as all of you who know me know, it must really be good if I'm recommending a soccer movie. Go Girl Power! But the best line in the whole movie is:

"Just remember, Sporty Spice is the only one without a boyfriend!"

On Friday night I worked at the City's Father/Daughter Dance. The first 1/2 was for girls ages 4-8, second 1/2 was ages 8-12. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. The girls were all dressed like little princess' (some complete w/ tiaras!) and all the dad's were so sweet. One dad w/ 3 daughters brought them in a limo, they were glowing when they walked in. I kept leaving my coat check/help w/ corsages post to watch them dance. Dad's and Brittany Spears music is FUNNY. So were the slow dances.

It brought back the best memories of when I was living in CA, my school had a father/daughter weekend. My dad came and although the golf game was rained out, and we didn't dance at the dance...we had such a wonderful time! It was so much fun hanging out w/ My Bob and all my friend's and their dad's. I remember there being a slight awkwardness about us not dancing, like other people telling us to join them on the dance floor....but we were better sitting and talking to everyone (both of us are really good at that!!), neither one of us would have enjoyed dancing so I'm glad we didn't let the others influence us!! But anyway, it was such a wonderful weekend...people kept making such a big deal that he had come all the way from NM, but there wasn't a doubt in my mind that he would be there. I really took for granted that my dad was always there until I looked around at other people's fathers. I have a good Dad. Even though I don't think he's ever gotten used to me being married...someday, someday...

I'm so so so excited to have another fun blog to ready! Welcome to the blog world, Wendy!! I've already added you to my little linkies up there!

Moe, I had to relist you as "MoeMoe" or else you were on the same line w/ Misti. I don't know how to change sizes/spaces whatever, so I just stuttered your name.

I talked to Misti a little while ago and she sounded great. She was changing the first poopy diaper when I called so I talked to Denise and I could hear Misti saying that she had poop on her finger. And she was so ok with that! Weird. She sounded really tired, but I think she probably will be for the next 5 years or so...you know, when he starts kindergarten. She said Danny did very well, he even looked at the crowing head and cut the cord!! She will stay in the hospital until either tmw night or Sat, but probably Sat. so she can get some rest. She also said that he looks kinda like Danny, has bright blue eyes (for now), and has hair on part of his head but not all.

Mr. Davis Payne Greaud was born at 3:58 p.m. (I think is what Danny said) and weighted 6 lbs 6 oz and was 20 inches long. He also said that she had a very easy labor, only about 30 minutes and very little pain. Yeah!
